To analyse the MinikOiOi Plush series in terms of pedagogy, both the psychological and developmental aspects of play and toys are considered. The three series share common psychological and developmental features. These common points have been evaluated within this framework.
The Mini series is designed for infants aged 3 months and above, emphasizing minimal and ergonomic product design suitable for their age. Two different fabric textures provide tactile stimulation, a single sound provides auditory stimulation, and soft colors provide visual stimulation. Avoiding overstimulation has been a careful decision from a sensory perspective. During the oral stage, babies explore everything orally, and teething toys fulfill this need. Being removable allows them to bond with the toy and continue using it in the subsequent stage.
The Midi series represents the exploration period. Plush toys are designed as bags to enhance body awareness. During this stage, children drag, pull, carry, and nest their toys. Additionally, products with facial expressions that do not convey fixed emotions will enhance children's imagination and allow for unrestricted exploration of emotional experiences.
The Maxi series features removable accessories, distinguishing it from the other series. During this period, children love role-playing, developing social skills and problem-solving abilities. This nurtures curiosity about self-care and boosts self-confidence, benefiting fine motor development. Due to their larger size, these toys can be used as pillows in beds. Increased fiber filling compared to the Mini and Midi series ensures an upright posture, crucial for role-playing scenarios.
